Janene's Journey: From Passion to Purpose in Family Advocacy, Public Policy, and Ministry
Born, raised, and educated in Trinidad and Tobago, Janene discovered her calling and passion for ministry in the realms of Family Advocacy, Public Policy, and shaping the Future. She began her ministerial career in her home country, where she studied Early Childhood Social and Emotional Developmental Programs at the prestigious University of the West Indies.
After marrying, Janene moved to the Dominican Republic as an expatriate. She continued her pastoral work by engaging in charitable endeavors and promoting the importance of effective academic, social, and educational programs for young children.
Janene's journey later took her to Houston, Texas, where she furthered her ministerial career by earning a Bachelor of Science in Religion focusing on Christian Counseling and Psychology, followed by a Master of Science in Human Services Crisis Response and Trauma (HCCT-MA-D). In 2019, she became a certified life coach. She is currently a candidate for an Ed.D. in Communicate Care and Traumatology.
As a key figure in Grace Amazing Foundation Inc., Janene brings her wealth of experience as an educator, life coach, mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend. Her resilience in overcoming personal traumatic events drives her to counsel and uplift those suffering from the darkness of abuse. In her missionary work, she provides grief and trauma counseling to victims of abuse.
With a heart full of compassion, Janene's constant prayers are with the abused. Her ultimate goal at Grace Amazing is to guide others toward Christ, who offers comfort, light amidst the darkness, and the promise of a future filled with happiness and joy.
